Hello! My name is Sammie Denham and I love capturing all things movement, people and places. 

 

My love for photography started at a very young age. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated with capturing moments, always taking photos everywhere I've gone. My photography has evolved over the years, but my passion to capture the beauty that surrounds us has only grown. 

 

As a professional dancer, I have been fortunate to travel the world throughout my career. Over the years, I’ve explored beautiful places, experienced many diverse cultures, and worked with countless talented artists. I am truly fascinated by Mother Nature, and the unique movement that performers and athletes are capable of executing. This is how Denham Photos was born!

 

Having been in front of the lens myself for years, along with the skills and knowledge I have gained as a seasoned performer, I believe I have acquired a unique eye for capturing and guiding others from behind the lens. Adventuring to find unique places, and collaborating to create unique moments are what inspire me most.

I am currently located in New York City, but split by time between the west and east coast travelling back to Vancouver, Canada often. I'm also available for destination shoots upon request.
